Park House Healthcare appoints non-executive director

Park House Healthcare has announced the appointment of Carl Joplin as a non-executive member of its board of directors.

Mr Joplin has been working with the medical technology firm for a number of years in a consultancy role, assisting in the development and implementation of its in-house training programme.

Through this scheme, a number of Park House employees have been able to attain industry-recognised qualifications covering a variety of business areas.

The new director also has a proven background in people development outside the company and has previously held a number of lecturing posts in further and higher education.

Earlier this year, the company held a special event to celebrate the career of production manager Janet Backhouse, who has been with Park House for 25 years and is its longest-serving employee.
