Procter and Gamble’s Oral-B brand launches patient leaflets

10th October 2011

Procter and Gamble has introduced a new range of educational leaflets on behalf of its Oral-B brand, which offer guidance on a number of patient issues.

The pamphlets will be made available for free via UK dental practices and are not product-oriented, instead providing information on common questions and queries posed to dental professionals, reports Dentistry.co.uk.

One of the leaflets details the processes involved in restorative dentistry and the differences between bridges, crowns and implants, as well as the benefits of prosthodontic procedures.

Another elucidates issues surrounding general oral hygiene and the importance of regular dental visits, while a third provides information on tooth whitening treatments and the difference between internal and external staining.

The latter leaflet also offers advice on how patients can avoid the need for whitening by minimising staining.

Procter and Gamble's Oral-B brand is one of its most prominent product families and includes offerings such as the Pro-Expert toothpaste, which was launched earlier this year.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800754158-ADNFCR
