Dentsply to offer presentation on local anaesthesia

Dentsply has revealed details of a forthcoming online presentation by Dr Nigel Robb.

The expert, who is reader in restorative dentistry at the University of Bristol's Department of Oral and Dental Sciences, is due to share his knowledge of local anaesthetic at 19:30 GMT on Tuesday November 15th.

Dr Robb's live presentation – entitled Local Anaesthesia for the 21st Century – will form part of Dentsply's specialist programme of online classes available for verifiable CPD.

According to the company, he will discuss the safe and effective use of local anaesthesia in dental practices, as well as exploring new delivery systems and techniques.

Dr Robb is president of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry and has published widely in the field of pain and anxiety control.

Other leading experts due to deliver live presentations for the Dentsply Academy before the end of the year include Dr Carol Tait and Dr Nicolas Martin, who will speak about all-ceramic crowns on Wednesday December 7th.
