Bard to host investor conference
Bard has announced the date of its annual investor conference, which will take place on Tuesday December 20th.
The New Jersey-based medical technology company said the conference will be held in New York City and hosted by Timothy Ring, the firm's chairman and chief executive.
According to a statement, investors who attend the event can expect to receive an update on Bard's product pipeline and financial outlook for 2012.
In addition, a live webcast of the conference will be available to all investors through the company's website, where it will also be archived for on-demand replay in the future.
Last month, Bard announced it had reached an agreement to acquire Colorado-based firm Medivance in a deal worth approximately $250 million (155.8 million pounds).
Medivance manufactures the Arctic Sun family of products, which provides a temperature management system for therapeutic hypothermia in critically ill patients.
Mr Ring described the acquisition as "a great strategic fit for Bard".
