Anachem launches new laboratory decontaminant products

Anachem has announced the availability of MicroSol 3 Plus decontaminant, a new disinfection product range for a variety of laboratory applications.

The multipurpose cleaning agent is available in concentrate, ready-to-use spray and handy wipes, combining twin chain quaternary ammonium compounds and amphoretic biocides to combat bacteria, fungi, viruses, yeasts and DNA.

It has proven its efficacy against key human pathogenic microorganisms, while being non-toxic, biodegradable and leaving behind no strong odours, stains or surface residue.

According to the manufacturer, this makes it ideally suited for use in decontamination for pipettes and surfaces in molecular biology laboratories, as well as when carrying out DNA profiling for forensic applications.

"It is not limited to the laboratory alone; MicroSol 3 Plus can also be used in washroom areas, for food preparation surfaces and for surface decontamination of instruments and electrical appliances," Anachem added.

Earlier this year, the company also launched Rainin E4 XLS, a next-generation family of electronic pipettes, which offer sophisticated functionality and compatibility with mobile devices.
