AAH agrees distribution arrangement with Merck Serono
AAH Pharmaceuticals has agreed a new distribution arrangement with Merck Serono for the sale of fertility products in the UK, starting next year.
From January 9th 2012, AAH will be responsible for the distribution of Merck Serono's fertility range to community pharmacies and dispensing doctors across the UK, reports Chemist and Druggist.
This new arrangement excludes Northern Ireland and comes in addition to the existing arrangement the companies previously had in place, covering hospitals and fertility clinics.
Mark James, managing director at AAH, said he believes the company has already proven its credentials in terms of its innovative and forward-thinking solutions.
"As we have with other pharmaceutical manufacturers, AAH worked closely with Merck Serono to develop a proposal that will ensure universal coverage and retain a robust and resilient supply chain," he added.
This comes after AAH was able to agree distribution deals with companies such as Daiichi Sankyo and Abbott earlier this year.
