CareFusion showcases new product technology at ASHP conference
CareFusion has showcased a number of its new innovations in medical management technology at an American Society for Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) conference this month.
The company attended the New Orleans event to showcase a new range of products designed to improve safety standards and reduce operating costs for those in the hospital pharmacy sector.
Products on display included various additions to the Pyxis range, including the new Enterprise System, MedStation 4000 Operating Systems, PARx 5.0 barcode scanning interface and EcoStation waste management device.
In addition, the company demonstrated Rowa technology innovations for automated pharmaceutical packaging and storage, while highlighting the new interoperability between the Pyxis MedStation 4000 and the Cerner Millennium Platform.
Tom Leonard, president of medical systems at CareFusion, said: "The innovative systems we are introducing at ASHP reflect our ongoing commitment to deliver technologies and differentiated partnerships that support these changing needs."
This follows the launch of the new Nicolet Electroencephalography Wireless Amplifier device earlier this month, for use in the capture of high-resolution brain wave data.
