Mast highlights successful Medica 2011 attendance

Mast has expressed satisfaction with the reception of its new Mast Uri System at the recent Medica 2011 industry event in Germany.

The life science firm attended the Dusseldorf trade show to illustrate the benefits of the new urine microbiology innovation, which aims to offer a streamlined process and other efficiency benefits for users.

According to the company, the new innovation attracted a great deal of interest during the show, as attendees recognised the benefits of the device in an economic climate that is creating pressure to minimise costs.

"Mast would like to express thanks to not only staff and organisers, but also to our distributors and customers who contributed in making it such a successful occasion," the firm added.

The Mast Uri System was launched in the UK in October 2011 at the Institute of Biomedical Science Congress in Birmingham, during which it received a positive response.

It will be introduced internationally next year, with the official launch to be announced at the European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases in London in March.
