Philips and Wright Cottrell support Dentistry Scotland Awards

Philips and Wright Cottrell were among the sponsors of the recent successful Dentistry Scotland Awards, which took place at the Gleneagles Hotel at the end of November 2011.

The dental technology companies were joined by other sector stakeholders such as Ivoclar Vivadent, Independent Care Plans and Costech Elite in supporting the inaugural celebration of the best in Scottish oral care, reports Dentistry.co.uk.

During the event, prizes were presented to a number of leading practitioners across the country, including Blue Sky Dental for best new practice, Fergus and Glover for best dental team, Glasgow Smile Gallery for best marketing and Elaine Halley for outstanding individual of the year.

The event's organisers at Dentistry Scotland magazine gave thanks to the corporate sponsors for making the event possible.

Judging panel chairman Robert Donald added that it was "uplifting to review such a stunning array of high quality entries, which provide both inspiration and encouragement to our colleagues".

This comes as Philips, Ivoclar Vivadent and other dental companies prepare to sponsor the upcoming Dentistry Live exhibition in London, which will be held in May 2012.
