Kruuse to distribute Pulse Veterinary Technologies products in the UK

Kruuse has agreed a new partnership that will see it distribute a number of product offerings from Pulse Veterinary Technologies in the UK and Ireland.

Effective from December 16th 2011, Kruuse becomes the exclusive UK seller of Pulse's shockwave therapy systems, an innovative non-invasive method of stimulating healing in ligament, tendon or boney structures.

Products in this range include the VersaTron, VersaTron 4Paws and EquiTron high-energy devices, which function by using a high-energy sound wave that rapidly increases pressure as it travels through tissue.

Eric Goorno, chief executive officer of Pulse Veterinary Technologies, said this arrangement will allow Kruuse to bring cutting-edge innovations to its UK clients.

Andrew Groom, managing director at Kruuse UK, added: "This agreement widens the Kruuse equine and small animal capital equipment profile … increasing the range of technologies available to the veterinary practitioner, whilst providing aftercare support of existing shockwave users."

This follows the company's UK introduction of the new honey-based wound dressing product Kruuse Manuka earlier this year.
