Idexx Laboratories launches Cornerstone 8.2 software

Idexx Laboratories has introduced the latest version of its Cornerstone practice management software for veterinary health professionals.

Cornerstone 8.2 has been designed with customer feedback in mind and offers improved performance in terms of speed, connectivity and efficiency.

Among its major enhancements is its improved Electronic Whiteboard feature, which offers an at-a-glance method of sharing data and creating schedules, while its superior integration with digital radiography helps to streamline workflows.

Other new additions include its integration with the Idexx I-Vision Mobile application, fast entry of simple medical notes and expanded payment options.

Tyler Patterson, director for the Cornerstone product line at Idexx Computer Systems, said: "We strongly believe the Cornerstone system must continue to evolve its functionality to meet the varied and changing needs of our customers."

Last month, the company acquired the University of Missouri college of veterinary medicine's research and diagnostic laboratory business, a move that will expand its health monitoring capabilities and diagnostic testing services.
