BMG Labtech to sponsor upcoming SLAS 2012 event

BMG Labtech has announced that it will be sponsoring the upcoming Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS) 2012 conference in California.

The life science company will be attending the first annual event in San Diego in February 2012 as a diamond sponsor and will be giving a number of product presentations and seminars.

Among the new devices it will be showcasing at SLAS 2012 include the high throughput screening instrument PHERAstar FS, the 1536 absorbance reader SPECTROstar Nano and its new Atmospheric Control Unit (ACU) for the FLUOstar Omega.

The company launched the ACU across its entire range of Omega microplate readers in October 2011, offering dual independent control of both oxygen and carbon dioxide levels within the microplate reading chamber.

Furthermore, tutorial sessions will allow BMG Labtech to further demonstrate the flexibility and operational benefits of its new products compared to a number of existing drug discovery technology offerings.
