Langland supports NSPCC on Step Change 2012
Langland has launched a number of promotional initiatives to help the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) publicise its annual Step Change charity event.
The media agency has introduced an online microsite and a London Underground poster campaign to raise awareness of The Gherkin Challenge, a race to raise money for ChildLine that will be held on March 4th 2012.
Supported by Olympic gold medallist Sally Gunnell, the event will see hundreds of runners climbing the 38 flights of stairs within the distinctive skyscraper at 30 St Mary Axe, with nine members of Langland's staff among them.
Philip Chin, chief executive of Langland, said: "Over the years, the charity has been associated with some outstanding advertising campaigns. To be selected as an NSPCC ad agency is something we at Langland are very proud of."
Earlier this month, the agency also helped UK baby charity Bliss to promote its activities through the launch of a baking-themed iPhone app.
