Ivoclar Vivadent report highlights benefits of IPS e.max

1st March 2012

Ivoclar Vivadent has published a new scientific report offering a full breakdown of clinical studies that showcase the benefits of its IPS e.max all-ceramic restorative system.

The report brings together the most prominent studies involving IPS e.max that have been conducted over the past ten years – including more than 20 in-vivo and in-vitro trials – and lays them out in a logical and structured manner.

Featuring lithium disilicate glass-ceramic and zirconium oxide materials for press and CAD/CAM techniques, IPS e.max also features a universally applicable nano-fluorapatite glass-ceramic that can be used for veneering all components of the system.

Data from the new Ivoclar Vivadent report shows that it offers an overall survival rate of 96.8 percent, while a similarly strong performance was demonstrated by its individual components.

The manufacturer said the data "attests to the successful performance and reliability of the IPS e.max system".

In December, Ivoclar Vivadent enhanced its product portfolio by launching a mobile application version of its Cementation Navigation System practical orientation and guidance software, for use on iOS devices.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801307568-ADNFCR
