Merck Millipore announces new process solutions head
Merck Millipore has announced the appointment of Andrew Bulpin as its new head of process solutions.
The present head of global pharmaceutical chemicals solutions sale for the company will assume his new role on May 14th 2012, succeeding the retiring Jean-Paul Mangeolle.
Mr Bulpin has been with Merck Millipore since 2006 and was appointed to his current role following the business's acquisition by Merck KGaA, while his previous employers include Serologicals Corporation.
Robert Yates, president of Merck Millipore, said Mr Bulpin will bring extensive leadership experience and industry expertise to the role.
He added: "With a continued focus on helping biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical manufacturers advance their molecules to market, Andrew has an unprecedented opportunity to evolve the process solutions business."
Next month, the company will host its annual Merck Millipore Pharma Forum in Germany, where it will discuss various issues affecting the pharmaceutical raw materials industry.
