Hill and Knowlton Strategies handed UK Pampers brief
Hill and Knowlton Strategies has been selected as the new UK provider of communications activity for Procter and Gamble's Pampers brand.
The health and personal care firm will continue to work with current UK partner Fleishman-Hillard on the disposable nappy brand account until this summer, after which point Hill and Knowlton Strategies will take over, reports PRWeek.
It comes as part of Procter and Gamble's efforts to consolidate its global marketing activities, with Hill and Knowlton Strategies already responsible for Pampers communications in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The firm also recently handed global PR duties for the Vicks range to MSLGroup, which was previously only responsible for the brand in Europe.
Procter and Gamble brand PR manager Catherine McMahon confirmed that this changeover will take place, but did not comment on its wider consolidation plans.
Hill and Knowlton Strategies rebranded from Hill and Knowlton to its current name in December 2011, in order to reflect a new emphasis on strategic communications advice.
