Heraeus outlines expanded Facebook engagement efforts

25th May 2012

Heraeus has shone a spotlight on its efforts to expand its social media presence via a revamped Facebook page.

The site has been active since 2009 under the name Venus Smile, but it was rebranded in 2011 with the new title Heraeus Dental 360, providing an online venue in which customers can share ideas and tips on aesthetic materials and procedures.

Page content includes articles from dental experts, company and product information, case studies, video material, special offers and news from dental shows.

The aim of the revamp is to allow dental professionals to access useful information on Heraeus products and services, while also being able to discuss their insights with others.

Karen Nemes, Heraeus' marketing services manager, said: "That's where the page's name comes from: Heraeus Dental 360 means that we take a 360-degree perspective when it comes to interacting with our customers."

Earlier this month, the company confirmed that hygienist Kristine Hodsdon is set to become a regular contributor to its Heraeus Dental 360 e-newsletter.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801371938-ADNFCR
