Siemens to demonstrate microbiology products at ASM 2012
Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics has announced that it will be showcasing innovative microbiology products at a forthcoming industry conference in San Francisco.
The company will attend the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) general meeting from June 17th to 19th in order to demonstrate its own latest products and those of its partners Copan and Bruker.
Among the exhibited solutions will be the WASP walk-away specimen processor from Copan and Maldi Biotyper from Bruker, both of which incorporate LabPro Connect networking software from Siemens.
Also on display will be Siemens' Tissue Preparation Solution, plus its Personalized Education Plan (PEP) and PEP Administrator software.
Christoph Gauer, chief executive officer for the molecular/microbiology business segment at Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, said: "Siemens' presence at ASM 2012 reconfirms our strong footprint in advanced microbiology testing innovations and highlights our strong progress in broadening our portfolio across the entire testing cycle."
Earlier this month, the company announced the launch of upgraded software for its Advia Centaur CP immunoassay system, a high-throughput benchtop analyser for mid-volume laboratories.
