Norbrook launches new antibiotic for canine soft tissue infections

22nd June 2012

Norbrook Laboratories is launching a new antibiotic treatment for soft tissue infections among dogs in a range of size options.

Mycinor tablets for dogs are the latest addition to Norbrook's small animal range and offers antibacterial protection for the treatment of infected wounds and abscesses, particularly diseased mouth cavities and dental infections.

It is a fast-acting therapy that is absorbed into the body to effective levels within 30 minutes of administration, while it is also designed to be administered in a simple and convenient way by the pet owner.

Rebekah Dudek, Norbrook's veterinary advisor, said: "Mycinor is a very effective and safe antibiotic and is ideal for long and short-term treatments. It can be dosed once daily or at twice-daily intervals if preferred."

Mycinor joins products such as Loxicom, Carprieve and Propentofylline tablets in Norbrook's small animal portfolio.

In April 2012, the company highlighted the popularity its Loxicom Oral Suspension for Cats has achieved among customers since its introduction at the beginning of the year.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801391783-ADNFCR
