Bayer HealthCare to presents new haemophilia data at WFH congress
Bayer HealthCare will present data on new treatments and modalities for haemophilia A at a forthcoming congress held by the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH).
The company will attend the WFH conference in Paris later this month to share data from several clinical trials, including results from Spinart, a phase III study assessing Kogenate Bayer.
It will demonstrate the performance of secondary prophylaxis with Kogenate Bayer on bleeding frequency and joint damage compared to episodic treatment in adults and adolescents.
Other presentations will highlight phase I data for the early-stage compound BAY 94-9027, as well as assessments of haemophilia prophylaxis versus on-demand therapy.
Dr Kemal Malik, head of global development and member of the Bayer HealthCare executive committee, said: "We are dedicated to finding solutions to help people with haemophilia live the lives they choose. That commitment is more evident than ever this year."
This comes after the firm attended the American Society of Clinical Oncology's annual meeting last month, where it presented new data on cancer drugs such as Nexavar, regorafenib and Alpharadin.
