Simplyhealth makes donation to Avon Sports and Leisure Club

Simplyhealth has made a donation of 2,500 pounds to the Avon Sports and Leisure Club for the visually impaired.

The dental and healthcare insurance company provided the funds to help the charity's efforts to organise events for people with vision loss, as well as to improve facilities for this population in association with local businesses.

Simplyhealth is dedicated to supporting local charitable initiatives and made donations of more than one million pounds to various UK organisations last year.

It operates active community funds in four of its locations – Andover, Bristol, Leeds and Manchester.

Jamie Wilson, a spokesperson for Simplyhealth, said: "Improving wellbeing is at the heart of what we do at Simplyhealth and we are always happy to help charities that support people in the local community."

Last month, the company announced the launch of its new Simply Blog, which it will be using to engage more directly with consumers and improve the quality of its communications.
