PerkinElmer launches Ensemble for QA/QC platform

PerkinElmer has launched Ensemble for QA/QC, a new informatics solution that will help to improve standards at quality assurance and quality control laboratories.

The new system offers real-time control and automation of laboratory processes, thus helping to decrease procedural errors, reduce time spent on data review and speed up the delivery of results to end users.

It can be implemented across a wide range of industries in which testing and results are needed to control manufacturing processes and ensure raw material quality, including the pharmaceutical sector.

Additionally, its scalable architecture offers support for all levels of deployment, from a single site to the entire enterprise.

Michael Stapleton, general manager for informatics at PerkinElmer, said: "Decision makers in quality assurance and quality control laboratories need critical information to respond quickly and effectively to support business decisions."

Last month, the company announced the launch of OneSource Scientific IT Services, its new suite of informatics-based consulting, planning and management offerings.
