B Braun wins IiP Gold Award for people management

B Braun has been presented with a prestigious accolade in recognition of its strong commitment to best practice in people management in the UK.

The company earned an Investors in People (IiP) Gold Award after an assessment by IiP revealed that it has met more than 165 performance requirements in areas such as staff empowerment, health and wellbeing, corporate leadership and reward structures.

B Braun's HR management standards were found to be way above the benchmark national quality requirements, placing it among the top three percent of IiP-certified UK organisations.

This comes after the company claimed a silver IiP award in 2010 and a bronze the previous year.

Hans Hux, group chief executive of the B Braun companies in the UK, said: "The growth and success of our UK business is due to the professionalism, drive and high level of expertise of every single B Braun employee."

This comes after the company claimed a silver Vision Award from the League of American Communications Professionals for its 2011 annual report last month.
