3 Monkeys appoints new associate directors

3 Monkeys Communications has announced the appointment of Emeka Njodi and Jasmin Athwal as associate directors and members of its operations board.

Mr Njodi joins the company this month and will lead projects for Microsoft and Three, while building a team focused on technology brands and major consumer packaged goods companies.

He brings more than ten years of agency experience to the business, having recently worked for Borkowski, where he handled accounts for major clients such as Virgin Media, Sony and Vodafone.

Meanwhile, Ms Athwal – formerly of Max Australia – will lead the business technology team, dealing with a range of clients including Rackspace, Getronics and Xirrus, having previously worked on campaigns for Symantec, Microsoft and Lenovo.

Managing director Christine Jewell said: "We want to attract exciting talent to 3 Monkeys that can match our ambitions for the future. These appointments show that we are building a great team of key internal and external talent."

This comes after the company won the first retained social media brief for Microsoft's advertising division last month.
