Sirona launches economical T3 dental handpiece

Sirona has announced the launch of the T3, a new dental handpiece that offers an economical alternative to its existing variants.

Whereas the T1 delivered premium performance and the T2 was engineered with comfort in mind, the T3 reduces functionality to the essentials in order to deliver the cost-effectiveness benefits.

Its low-cost nature is combined with the durability and efficiency for which the product range is known, incorporating a robust titanium sleeve, ceramic ball bearings and an anti-retraction system.

This means that the manufacturer now offers a full range of options in this area, regardless of the specifications of the dental practice in question.

Frank Peichl, product manager at Sirona, said: "Following the introduction of the T3 alongside the existing T1 and T2 models, our portfolio of straight and contra-angle handpieces is now complete."

This comes after the company earlier this month launched Teneo EasyMode, a new version of its Teneo treatment centre that features streamlined controls.
