Smith and Nephew commences search for new CFO
Smith and Nephew is searching for a new chief financial officer (CFO) after Adrian Hennah announced his imminent departure from the role.
Mr Hennah will be departing the company at the end of December 2012 to take on the CFO role at Reckitt Benckiser, with an announcement on his successor to be made in the near future.
The outgoing CFO has been with the company for six years and has helped to reinvigorate its strategic direction and maintain a strong balance sheet, while also providing support to chief executive officer Olivier Bohuon, who joined the company in February 2011.
Mr Bohuon said: "Adrian has made a significant contribution to the company's performance and strategy, and I know that my colleagues will join me in wishing him every success in his new role."
Last month, the company received a draft recommendation from the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence for Exogen, its new lightweight portable ultrasound bone healing system.
