Knowlton healthcare team supports media roundtable at ESMO meeting

Hill & Knowlton has sent its healthcare team to a major cancer research event in Vienna, Austria.

The company explained its representatives worked hard at the European Society of Medical Oncology's (ESMO) annual meeting, in which they supported a media roundtable regarding bone metastases.

Leading figures in this field – which relates to painful bone cancer usually occurring in advanced stages of the disease – were well received by the audience at the event.

This was made up by 14 top-tier journalists from across Europe, including press members from Austria, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and Switzerland.

In addition, members of the healthcare team at Hill & Knowlton have also visited the newly refurbished Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Harley Street Clinic in London.

Working in cooperation on the project with its offices in Kuwait, Hill & Knowlton saw first-hand the important work being carried out at the facility that is delivering complex care to very ill young people.
