EML Wildfire wins award for work with Train2Game

EML Wildfire has claimed an industry accolade for its work in organising and promoting an event for Train2Game at the Gadget Show Live.

The agency claimed a gold prize for best event at the 2012 CIPR PRide Home Counties Awards for its work with the videogame development training organisation.

At the Gadget Show Live event, Train2Game promoted its activities by giving a number of its student developers the opportunity to create iOS games, with more than 100,000 show visitors participating in the process.

EML Wildfire helped to organise this event, as well as promoting Train2Game's presence at the exposition through the national, regional and gaming industry press outlets.

The CIPR PRide Home Counties judging committee said: "The use of creative and innovative tactics to deliver an interactive event should be commended and the empowerment of brand ambassadors all contributed to make this entry the standout winner."

Earlier this year, the agency won a new global PR contract with technology distributor and electronics solutions provider Premier Farnell, encompassing activity in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific.
