Dechra announces retirement of long-serving territory manager

18th October 2012

Dechra Veterinary Products has announced that Bob Hartley will be retiring from the company after a five-year stint as territory manager for the south-west.

Mr Hartley has been working in the animal health industry for more than four decades, with his work taking him across the UK and to countries such as Singapore, the US and South America since 1978.

His past employers include Vitamealo, Leo Laboratories and Vetxx, while he has been involved in the launch of several important products, including Canaural, Fuciderm, Fucithalmic and Malaseb.

Having been with Dechra since 2008, he will now be stepping down to spend more time with his family.

Bob Parmenter, Dechra Veterinary Products' UK and Ireland country manager, said: "Bob Hartley has served our industry well over 42 years, not to mention the mentoring he has provided to more than 100 people who have been out on the road with him over this time."

Earlier this month, the company attended the British Veterinary Nursing Association congress in Telford, where it was able to share its expertise on woundcare, exotics and fluid therapy with attendees.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801472256-ADNFCR
