Tonic Life Communications wins global PR brief with Cardiorentis
Tonic Life Communications has been hired to carry out global PR work on behalf of the Switzerland-based biopharmaceutical firm Cardiorentis.
The agency will provide PR and medical communications support for the brand, which is attempting to gain ground in the cardiology drug market but currently has no dedicated in-house marketing team, reports PRWeek.
Additionally, the brief will encompass medical congress support, data dissemination and corporate profiling, with associate director Helen Swift to lead the retained account from now until the end of 2013.
Cardiorentis was established in 2010 and is one of the first start-up companies to invest in a phase 3 clinical trial programme, something that is generally limited to larger firms.
Tonic's chief executive officer Scott Clark said: "Cardiorentis has a refreshing new approach to drug development which it combines with entrepreneurial spirit, something that reflects Tonic's own values."
The company is part of the Huntsworth communications group and was ranked top of PRWeek's 2012 list of the 150 best healthcare agencies.
