Bite Communications announces CEO changeover

6th November 2012

Bite Communications has announced that its chief executive officer (CEO) and co-founder Clive Armitage is leaving the company after 17 years.

Having helped to start up the company in 1995, Mr Armitage will be teaming up with long-term Bite colleagues Paul Mackender and Dan Sands to found a new digital marketing agency for Next Fifteen in January 2013.

He will continue to serve as a member of the Bite board in a part-time capacity, while the CEO role will be assumed by current president Andy Cunningham, whose experience in the technology sector include helping Apple's Steve Jobs to launch the original Macintosh.

Mr Armitage said: "She mixes a strong set of values with a brilliant consultancy mind and is also very commercially astute. This is a rare mix in PR and comms people."

This comes after Bite recently strengthened its senior leadership team further with the appointment of Jon Silk, former head of digital at Waggener Edstrom, as a new member of its board of directors.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801483006-ADNFCR
