TBWALondon wins marketing brief for SCA’s Tena brand

8th November 2012

TBWALondon has been awarded a contract to carry out marketing work on behalf of SCA's consumer health brand Tena.

The agency won the brief following a three-month review that culminated in a competitive pitch against DDB and Publicis, after UK incumbent DLKW Lowe chose to withdraw, reports Campaign.

Specialising in products for people suffering from incontinence and other bladder problems, the Tena range includes protective pads and underwear, while its global advertising account is valued at more than 40 million pounds.

DLKW Lowe's Lights campaign for the brand proved a significant success, earning a nomination for a prize at the 2012 IPA Effectiveness Awards, though it did not go on to win.

Meanwhile, the Tena Protective Underwear brand sponsors the Timeless Classics daytime programming block on UKTV's Gold, Alibi and Yesterday channels, with idents produced as part of a six-month deal.

TBWALondon is part of the global TBWA communications group, which operates in 100 different countries across 22 specialty disciplines.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801484481-ADNFCR
