Dechra to discuss antimicrobial resistance at London Vet Show

12th November 2012

Dechra Veterinary Products has announced that it will be offering support to vets on the best ways of combating antimicrobial resistance at this year's London Vet Show.

Taking place on November 15th and 16th 2012, the event will feature talks on the threat this issue poses to animal welfare, human health and veterinary practice, while providing advice on responsible use of antibiotic use.

These are the themes of Dechra's Time to Change campaign, which provides a holistic best practice approach to managing ear disease and otitis externa in a way that controls the condition without exacerbating the wider problem of resistance.

Dechra Veterinary Products' senior brand manager Larry King said: "We're looking forward to welcoming delegates at the London Vet Show, when the team will be on hand to explain more about Time to Change and offer support materials."

Last month, the company published its financial results for the fiscal quarter running from July to October 2012, during which it experienced a year-on-year revenue increase of 21.9 percent.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801486357-ADNFCR
