Huntsworth Health experiences growth in third quarter of 2012
Huntsworth Health experienced positive business growth in the third quarter of 2012, despite adverse economic conditions in the UK and Europe.
The agency achieved like-for-like revenue expansion of 6.8 percent during the three-month period, when compared to the corresponding quarter of 2011, having successfully moved past the downturn it experienced in Q4 2011.
A downturn in financial and corporate activity in UK financial markets impacted on the performance of the group as a whole, but divisions such as Huntsworth Health and Red helped to mitigate this.
Future prospects for Huntsworth are set to be more positive, as the firm continues to display a strong balance sheet and profit levels that are significantly ahead of 2011 figures.
Sally Withey, chief operating officer and finance director of Huntsworth, said: "Whilst revenues in the third quarter were softer than anticipated, costs have been controlled and we therefore expect to show a significant improvement in profitability for calendar 2012."
During the first half of this year, Huntsworth Health contributed 30 percent of the Huntsworth group's overall revenues, benefiting from a rapid explosion in the digital marketing sector.
