Boehringer Ingelheim to host neurology webinars to support Pexion

Boehringer Ingelheim has announced that it will be hosting a series of neurology webinars over the coming weeks as part of its BI Academy scheme.

Taking place to coincide with the recent launch of its canine epilepsy medication Pexion, the seminars will account for between 30 and 60 minutes of continuous professional development each and will be presented by leading veterinary neurologists.

The first will be held on October 22nd 2013 and will focus on epilepsy management, with a seminar on the difference between neurological and radiological views of the brain to follow on October 23rd.

Neuro exams will come under the spotlight on October 24th, while talks on the emergency management of head trauma, practical management of spinal pain and intervertebral disc disease will follow on the 29th, 30th and 31st respectively.

Finally, seminars on spinal trauma management and lower motor neurone disease will follow on November 5th and 6th.

This comes after the company recently launched a new BI Academy Twitter feed to help alert veterinary professionals about up-and-coming online CPD opportunities.
