BMI Healthcare’s London Independent Hospital continues refurbishment
BMI Healthcare has announced the completion of refurbishment work at the outpatients department of BMI The London Independent Hospital.
The new department on the second floor of the hospital has been relaunched with improved patient waiting areas and consulting rooms to meet the needs of private and NHS patients, with the enhancement coming as part of a three-part development plan.
It offers improved facilities, 19 consulting rooms and bespoke facilities for specialties including cardiology, neurophysiology and gynaecology, with work on the new department having commenced in May 2013.
Around 500,000 pounds has already been invested into the hospital in the past year to upgrade its physiotherapy department and gym, while enhancements to the ground floor reception will take place in the coming weeks.
Outpatient manager Kelly Ratcliff said: "Surroundings are vitally important to a patient's experience and the new outpatients department at BMI The London Independent Hospital will deliver a brighter, more spacious and friendlier environment for our patients."
This comes after BMI Healthcare unveiled new digital mammography units at its Bishops Wood Hospital and The King's Oak Hospital in London earlier this year.
