Kimberly-Clark included in Dow Jones and UN sustainability indices

16th October 2013

Kimberly-Clark has had its commitment to sustainability and good corporate citizenship recognised through its inclusion in two leading global indices.

The company has been added to the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index and the newly launched UN Global Compact 100, thanks to its strong performance in terms of environmental stewardship and ethical business dealings.

It demonstrates Kimberly-Clark's status as a recognised industry leader in these crucial areas of corporate responsibility, with both indices having been compiled following thorough assessments of hundreds of companies.

Lisa Morden, senior director of global sustainability for Kimberly-Clark, said: "Indices like these give investors increased visibility and assurance as they consider sustainability issues in their investment decisions."

This comes after the firm was praised for the transparency and diligence of its sustainability reporting by the not-for-profit organisation Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) earlier this month.

Kimberly-Clark achieved an A-plus grade for this key corporate function from GRI for the second consecutive year.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801650288-ADNFCR
