Autoscribe implements Matrix Gemini LIMS for major pharmaceutical firm
Autoscribe has announced that its Matrix Gemini laboratory information management system (LIMS) has been successfully implemented by one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the world.
The unnamed company will be utilising the Matrix Gemini system for preclinical pathology applications, as part of a complex sample tracking configuration project that has been running since 2008.
Intended to track the processing of patient samples through multiple laboratories all the way to archiving the final products, the use of Matrix Gemini will greatly aid this initiative, allowing hundreds of users to utilise the new system across multiple locations.
Its complex querying function, customised menus and options and ability to rapidly register thousands of samples enables considerable time savings.
Autoscribe's founder and chief executive officer John Boother said: "We enjoyed an excellent working relationship with our customer's project team. We were also delighted to receive a glowing message of appreciation from the customer project manager."
The firm will be showcasing the benefits of Matrix Gemini at the Lab Innovations 2013 conference in Birmingham, which will be held in November.
