Synergy Vision welcomes UK and Ireland account director

Synergy Vision has announced the appointment of Sharon Hurley as an account director within its client services team for the UK and Ireland.

Ms Hurley joined the company last month and is a former market access and regional customer manager for the Irish business of pharmaceutical giant Pfizer, a role which saw her help to develop value propositions and strategic plans for key customer groups.

She offers local operating experience across various therapeutic areas and has worked with the sales, marketing, training and market access departments of several healthcare companies, meaning she will be able to help support the rapid growth of Synergy Vision's Irish regional office.

Managing director Sorcha Ferris said: "Sharon is bringing her vast experience in sales, marketing, training and market access – as well as her commercial and creative flair – to support our growing business in the UK and Ireland."

The company was founded in 2007 by former pharmaceutical company employees and was recently nominated as a finalist for the 2013 PharmaTimes communication team of the year and Communique medical education consultancy of the year awards.
