Fox Communications to handle PR for National Obesity Awareness Week

27th November 2013

Fox Communications has been hired to handle branding and marketing comms for National Obesity Awareness Week 2014.

Organised by the National Obesity Forum, the event will run from January 13th to 19th 2014 and will call on members of the public to make healthy changes to their lifestyles as the new year begins.

Fox will be tasked with creating campaign communications – including a website, sponsorship materials and social media management – while a spokesperson for the agency told PMLiVE it has also been involved in generating corporate sponsorship for the event.

Ben Fox, director at Fox Communications, will lead the marketing campaign, with the company set to work alongside The Whitehouse Consultancy on the brief.

National Obesity Forum chairman Professor David Haslam said: "We believe that the initiatives we and our supporters will be taking forward will help in promoting the manageable ways individuals and families can prevent or address obesity."

The agency was founded in 2001 and has worked with clients such as Virgin Media, the Royal Horticultural Society and Parker Hannifin.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801665631-ADNFCR
