BMI Healthcare supports NHS cancer charity single
BMI Healthcare has announced that one of its surgeons has contributed to a special NHS charity single for Christmas 2013.
Consultant vascular surgeon Eddie Chaloner has teamed up with his colleagues from the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust to release a song called A Bridge Over You, an arrangement of the popular hits Fix You and A Bridge Over Troubled Water.
It is performed by the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS, which was originally formed for a BBC documentary called Sing While You Work and features the voices of Mr Chaloner and other doctors, nurses, therapists and surgeons.
The single is being produced in support of Macmillan Cancer Support and local healthcare charities and will be released on December 9th 2013.
Mr Chaloner said: "I hope that my friends and colleagues in both the NHS and at BMI Healthcare get behind the single so we can raise money for a worthy cause this holiday season."
Last month, the company published its financial results for the business year ending on September 30th 2013, during which it experienced growth in terms of underlying revenues and earnings.
