Integrated DNA Technologies to give Antibody Engineering and Therapeutics talk
Integrated DNA Technologies has announced that it will be giving a talk at the Antibody Engineering and Therapeutics next week.
The company will attend the event in Huntington Beach from December 9th to 12th 2013, where the firm's director of product commercialisation for synthetic biology Dr Michel Cannieux will discuss a new and affordable method of building and cloning genes of interest.
Entitled Rapid and Reliable Gene Construction with gBlocks Gene Fragments and Gibson Assembly Method, the talk will detail how this rapid and reliable technique can be carried out at a fraction of the cost of full gene synthesis.
Integrated DNA Technologies' gBlocks Gene Fragments are double-stranded, sequence-verified DNA blocks of up to 750 base pairs and provide high sequence fidelity, making them ideal for use in a broad range of biological applications.
This comes after the company attended the SynBioBeta synthetic biology conference in San Francisco, where Dr Adam Clore gave a similar talk on the benefits of gBlocks Gene Fragments.
