Nobel Biocare appoints CIO as EVP of executive committee
Nobel Biocare has announced the appointment of Dietmar Bettio as executive vice-president of its executive committee, effective from January 1st 2014.
Mr Bettio is the company's chief information officer (CIO) and has been with the company since January 2012. He has been credited with significant contributions to strengthening and optimising its IT processes and business alignment during this time.
Prior to joining Nobel Biocare, he accrued senior management experience during stints with Sonova, Forbo International and Mathys Medical, allowing him to provide the company with an informed perspective.
Richard Laube, chief executive officer of Nobel Biocare, said: "I am pleased to welcome Dietmar Bettio into the executive committee. He has proven strong skills in process management and will help us further in becoming more efficient and effective in serving our customers."
During the third quarter of 2013, the firm generated a three-month revenue total of 127.9 million euros (108.13 million pounds). This represented a year-on-year increase of 4.8 percent at constant exchange rates.
