Coloplast celebrates successful 2013

Coloplast has reflected on a successful 2013 and highlighted some of its achievements over the past 12 months.

During the year, the medical devices company created a total of 36 new jobs, meaning that it now employs 350 people, 210 of which are based in its Peterborough headquarters.

Last year also saw the launch of the SpeediCath Compact Set, which is the only compact and discreet catheter with an integrated and sterile bag. It went on to win two prestigious awards – the Red Dot Award for Product Design and the British Healthcare Trades Association Independent Living Best Product Award for 2013.

UK general manager Sue Kernahan said: "Businesses across the UK have had a tough time this year and I am incredibly proud of how Coloplast continues to invest in all areas that can improve outcomes for employees and customers." 

She added that the company was delighted with the progress made in 2013 and all employees received £100 in vouchers for a high street store as a Christmas gift.
