Red Consultancy appoints new managing directors for healthcare
The Red Consultancy has announced the promotion of Rebecca Fergusson and Sophie Taylor-Roberts to the position of joint managing directors of its healthcare practice.
Both are longstanding employees of the agency, boasting five and seven years' service at the company respectively. This is the first time Red Health has split its managing director role between two people, reports PRWeek.
The appointment comes after Red Health's previous head Jennifer Garratt left the company unexpectedly in December 2013, having joined from Reynolds Mackenzie in August. Her tenure came to an end by mutual agreement.
Ms Fergusson and Ms Taylor-Roberts will now act as the long-term successors to Paul Gittins, the founder of Red Health, who left the company last year to take up a role at Edelman.
Red's chief executive officer Mike Morgan said: "The healthcare sector is changing a lot and what might have been the right structure in the past has to be different now."
Founded in 2007, the Red Health practice serves clients such as Astellas, Novo Nordisk, Janssen and Pfizer.
