The Social Kinetic hired to promote NHS Change Day

14th January 2014

The Social Kinetic has won a brief to promote and support NHS Change Day 2014 on a pro bono basis.

It will be tasked with generating awareness and encouraging pledges for the event, which takes place for the second time on March 3rd 2014. Activities will include media relations, social media and stakeholder and partnership engagement work.

Held for the first time last year, NHS Change Day invites healthcare staff and members of the community to pledge and share actions that create change for the NHS on an online Pledge Wall. The 2013 event resulted in 189,000 pledges to improve patient care and experience.

The Social Kinetic has been tasked with helping to deliver 500,000 pledges in 2014, turning it from a grassroots movement into a national call to action.

Claire Cater, founder and managing director at The Social Kinetic, said: "We're excited and passionate about helping NHS Change Day grow and show the potential for staff to create a real and lasting difference to the NHS."

This comes after the agency was hired by the NHS to help develop innovative new communications strategies last November.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801681931-ADNFCR
