Galderma CEO to receive lifetime achievement award

Galderma has announced that its chief executive officer (CEO) is being presented with a lifetime achievement award from the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology.

Humberto Antunes will receive a lifetime in dermatology achievement award at this week's Orlando Dermatology Aesthetic and Clinical Conference (ODAC), which takes place in Florida from January 17th to 20th 2014.

Nominations were gathered from the entire dermatology community – including the editorial board, authors and reviewers from the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology – for companies regarded as the top thought leaders in a particular dermatology specialty.

Mr Antunes will receive the accolade for his leadership, dedication and philanthropy. He will also serve as the ODAC keynote speaker, presenting his vision of the future of dermatology during a speech.

He said: "I will be truly honoured to receive the lifetime in dermatology achievement award in person … and I accept it on behalf of 5,000 very deserving Galderma employees worldwide."

This comes after the firm named Stuart Raetzman as the new CEO of its North American operations earlier this month.
