Champion Communications wins UK PR brief with ASG

Champion Communications has been handed a new brief by ASG Software Solutions, a US-based enterprise IT and business software vendor.

The company has an established reputation in North America, serving high-profile clients such as American Express, Coca-Cola, DaimlerChrysler and General Electric, and now wishes to raise its profile in the UK.

It selected Champion Communications for the contract following a pitching process, with the agency set to take a challenger brand approach to the PR work.

Richard Cook, founder and managing director of Champion Communications, said the work will draw on the strength and demonstrable long-term expertise of ASG in order to help expand its market share.

He added: "The business is evolving from being sales-led to a marketing-led business. It is full of great success stories that have yet to be told."

The PR agency has experience in working with clients such as NetApp, Peer1 Hosting, Cloud Direct and Digital Reality, as well as broadcasters BBC, ITV and Channel 4.
