FirstLight hires former Red Health founder Paul Gittins

FirstLight has announced the appointment of Paul Gittins as the newest member of its healthcare team.

Mr Gittins, who was responsible for co-founding the Red Consultancy's healthcare practice Red Health, has been named as a director within the FirstLight business unit. He will aid the agency's overall goal of removing the barriers between clients and consultancies.

His appointment means he has been reunited with fellow Red Health co-founder Pat Pearson, who is now the managing director of FirstLight's healthcare division.

In his new role, Mr Gittins will work with key clients such as Napp Pharmaceuticals, AbbVie and Vifor Pharma.

This comes in the same month that the agency completed its move to a new office located on Cowcross Street in London.

Mr Pearson said: "It's a really exciting time for us – brand new offices, a growing team of talented people like Paul and some significant new business wins to start the new year with a bang."
