Keeler highlights success of hosting latest AIO meeting

Keeler has highlighted the success of the most recent meeting of the Association for Independent Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians (AIO), which was hosted by the company.

Taking place at Keeler's factory in Windsor, the event saw 36 delegates meeting to discuss the pressures of working within an independent practice and the best ways of relieving these pressures.

During the event, they were shown the latest products from Keeler, such as the new Symphony Q series Digital Slit Lamp, Pulsair Desktop Non-Contact Tonometer and D-KAT Digital Applanation Tonometer.

A factory tour was also held, giving attendees the chance to witness the assembly of devices and the lens-making facilities on site first-hand.

Keeler's marketing manager for the UK Laura Haverley said: "We are proud of our British manufacturing roots and pleased that we were able to show the group all that we do here in Windsor to create our devices."

At the end of 2013, the company appointed Lynn Rennison as its new sales manager for UK ophthalmology, a move that will further improve the effectiveness of its dealings with the eye health market.
